Often, stumps are left behind after a tree has been removed. They can be a pain to look at, especially if they’re tied to any running roots that run throughout your yard. Insect activity is reduced, new and undesired growth is mitigated, and future landscaping is created.
The most efficient approach to complete the tree removal procedure is to grind the stumps. Our highly skilled technicians in Phoenix AZ can securely use our top-of-the-line equipment to remove your stump and exposed roots. Please keep in mind that once a stump has been removed, you will not be able to plant another tree in that location.
Our stump grinder is 7 feet long and 35 inches wide. The grinding wheel is 10 inches broad and is positioned in the machine’s front. The wheel is serrated and equipped with metal teeth that revolve and drill down to 4-6 inches below ground level from the top of the stump. When the machine is finished, you’ll be left with a mulch pile where the stump used to be. Typically, the mulch pile is 20-30% greater than the pre-existing stump. This mulch can be left on the site to backfill the stump removal depression.
Some stumps may be in places where stump grinding is impracticable; if this is the case, our Certified Arborists can discuss other options for stump removal.
